Michael R. Winters, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Houston, Texas, USA.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication at Western Kentucky University, a Master’s degree in Counseling at Purdue University and a PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Memphis.  He is certified as a Diplomate Clinician by the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy and has been actively involved as a member of the institute for over 20 years, including bing a member of the board of directors.  He is the author of 5 articles or book chapters related to Logotherapy.  He has been an instructor for the Institute for over 10 years.  He has taught hundreds of students about Viktor Frankl’s approach through the Institute other seminars and workshops.  His areas of interest include couples psychotherapy and life transitions, especially the transition to retirement.  He supervises Diplomate Clinician and Non-Clinician students.
