Cynthia Wimberly PhD is a licensed counselor in Stamford, Texas where she currently is employed at the Noah Project Family Violence Center as Director of Primary Prevention in Abilene, Texas.   She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from McMurry University, a Master of Arts in History from Hardin Simmons University, a Master of Education in Counseling & Human Development from Hardin Simmons University, and Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas, a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Nationally Certified School Counselor and has lifetime certificates in Texas for History, Social Studies, English, and all level School Counseling. She has been active in the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy for over 25 years, serving as Director of the Distance Learning, Chair of the Education Committee, and currently Vice-President.  She has over 40 years of experience teaching and working with students PreK-through graduate level.  Her areas of research and publishing include working with at-risk youth, school counseling, meaning-centered living, and education in small, rural schools.  She has been an instructor for the Logotherapy Institute for over 15 years, supervising and teaching students with clinical and nonclinical backgrounds.
